This DVD illustrates the Emotionally Focused Model as applied to individuals (EFIT). EFT is best know as an attachment oriented couple intervention. The sessions shown here show a male client displaying problems with anxiety and depression. The consultation shown here consists of 5 sessions and clips from Sessions 2, and 4 and Session 3 in its entirety. The series of interventions termed the EFT Tango are illustrated, as well as the corrective emotional experiences that arise from these interventions. This video is intended to illustrate and exemplify the EFIT model as laid out in the book Attachment Theory in Practice: EFT with Individuals, Couples and Families.
