In December 2024, we introduced our new logo, thoughtfully designed to reflect the heart of the STL EFT Community and our mission to foster healing, connection, and growth. More than just an image, this logo tells a story – a tribute to St. Louis’ heritage and a reflection of the values central to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
The Meaning Behind the Design
Each element of our logo has been carefully crafted to celebrate our community story and its St. Louis roots:
The St. Louis ArchAt the heart of the logo lies the iconic Gateway Arch, symbolizing connection, resilience, and the pride we hold for our city.
The Fleur-de-Lis FlagInspired by the historic St. Louis city flag, the fleur-de-lis represents strength, honor, and tradition. It ties us to St. Louis’ French heritage and enduring spirit.
The HeartThe heart represents the emotional bonds we help nurture, embodying love, safety, and vulnerability – the essence of EFT.
The Infinity LoopWoven into the heart, the infinity loop reflects the enduring and transformative power of secure attachment and emotional connection.
The Mississippi RiverThe flowing blue lines evoke the strength and fluidity of the Mississippi River, a cornerstone of St. Louis’ identity. Like the river, relationships are powerful, fluid, and life-giving.
Hands Holding the HeartThe subtle navy curves cradle the heart, symbolizing the care, trust, and safety we strive to offer individuals, couples, and families in our community.
