We are SO excited to offer this training once again in person! This EFT Externship is endorsed by Award Winning Model Originator, Dr. Susan Johnson. This will be presented by ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer Dr. James Hawkins.

CEU's: 28 CEU’s approved by Missouri State Committee for Social Workers, provided by STL EFT Community for an additional $35.
What to Expect:
EFT will give you a map of what goes wrong in intimate relationships and how to make them right.
EFT is empirically validated with research to back it up. Currently EFT has 20+ positive outcome studies and shows a 75% success rate. No other relationship therapy comes even close to these numbers!
This training is your 1st step to being on the ICEEFT website, where clients go to find EFT therapists. It’s also a step towards becoming a Certified EFT Therapist. You’ll learn how to:
Your Trainer: Currently serving as a Clinical Coordinator at a non-profit counseling practice located in Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Hawkins plays a pivotal role in facilitating mental health services and supervising clinical practices. His founding of Healing Conversations further evidences his commitment to fostering growth and understanding within the community. This innovative training program aims to equip organizations and communities with the tools needed to engage in constructive and meaningful discussions to promote communication and connection around diversity issues.
As an ICEEFT-certified trainer, supervisor, and therapist, Dr. Hawkins is deeply involved in advancing the learning and practice of Emotional-Focused Therapy (EFT). He co-hosts two insightful podcasts, "The Leading Edge in Emotionally Focused Therapy" and "The Leading Edge: Transforming Leadership Through Attachment Science," where he shares his knowledge and insights on EFT and leadership development.
In addition to his hands-on work and educational initiatives, Dr. Hawkins contributes to the online training program successinvulnerability.com. This platform supports EFT therapists and supervisors in enhancing their clinical skills and focus.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Hawkins (aka: Doc Hawk) is a devoted family man. He is married to his wife, Nicola, and together they are proud parents to five daughters. His passion for helping individuals, couples, families, and communities navigate relational challenges shines through in his work, making him a respected and valued figure in the field of counseling and therapy.
