​​The Saint Louis EFT Community is thrilled to host one of the very first in-person trainings in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy® (EFFT). This training will be led by ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer James Furrow, Ph.D.

Dates: Friday, January 23, 2026 and Saturday, January 24, 2026

  • Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (to be followed by a happy hour!)
  • Saturday 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Advance your practice and strengthen your client outcomes with this next-level Emotionally Focused Family Therapy training!​
  • In this two-part course, Jim Furrow, PhD will guide you into the heart of the therapy room, showing clips of his and others sessions; reviewing where they get stuck, how they get unstuck, and how the attachment map and EFT Tango illuminate a way forward.
  • From there, you’ll join your colleagues in bringing your own work into the learning space. Trainer/Supervisors will provide consultation, feedback, and live guidance, helping you sharpen your skills through role plays and structured exercises. Together we will practice framing client problems through the lens of attachment, mapping the process, keeping momentum in session, unblocking barriers to caregiving, and more.
  • This training is designed to take you beyond the basics, deepen your EFFT skills, and empower you to confidently navigate the complex dynamics of families seeking healing and connection​
