About The Training: Healing Attachment Injuries
Healing Attachment Injuries is a two day advanced EFCT training designed to help clinicians guide couples into deeper emotional engagement, repair injury bonds, and foster lasting attachment security.
This training focuses on advanced application of the EFT Tango in Stage 2, including affect assembly, deepening emotional experience, and working with negative views of self and other. Participants will learn how to help couples face their deepest fears, move through injury and betrayal, and create meaningful emotional repair.
Teaching methods include didactic instruction, experiential learning, clinical examples, and guided practice in a supportive learning environment.

Teri Murphy, PhD, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified Trainer, Supervisor, and Therapist with the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Based in Tennessee, she is recognized internationally for advancing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through training, supervision, and speaking engagements focused on attachment, connection, and therapist development.
Prerequisite
Completion of an EFCT Externship is required for all participants.
