Important Overview
This offering includes two separate trainings:
  • A two day advanced EFCT training focused on healing attachment injuries
  • A one day EFCT consultation focused on live supervision and case consultation
Participants may register for either the training, the consultation day, or both.
Led by Teri Murphy, ICEEFT Certified Supervisor and Trainer.

About The Training: Healing Attachment Injuries
​
Healing Attachment Injuries is a two day advanced EFCT training designed to help clinicians guide couples into deeper emotional engagement, repair injury bonds, and foster lasting attachment security.

This training focuses on advanced application of the EFT Tango in Stage 2, including affect assembly, deepening emotional experience, and working with negative views of self and other. Participants will learn how to help couples face their deepest fears, move through injury and betrayal, and create meaningful emotional repair.

Teaching methods include didactic instruction, experiential learning, clinical examples, and guided practice in a supportive learning environment.

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day
One hour lunch break daily

About The Training: Consultation
The consultation day offers live supervision with Dr. Teri Murphy in a supportive and collegial learning environment.
Participants may
  • Volunteer to present video for consultation
  • Attend as observers only
  • Attend without video and still receive full educational benefit
Three to five participants will receive live consultation. Participants will indicate during registration whether they hope to present video or attend as an observer. Video presentation is optional and not required to attend.

Trainer
Teri Murphy, PhD, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified Trainer, Supervisor, and Therapist with the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Based in Tennessee, she is recognized internationally for advancing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through training, supervision, and speaking engagements focused on attachment, connection, and therapist development.

Prerequisite
Completion of an EFCT Externship is required for all participants.

Location
St. Louis, Missouri
Final venue details will be shared with registered participants prior to the training.
