Our Core Skills 1/2 training held from January 22 to January 24, 2025 with Doc Hawk focused on enhancing therapeutic techniques within the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework in Stage 1

Participants delved into essential EFT skills such as attunement, capturing patterns of emotional experience, and restructuring interactional dynamics to build secure attachment bonds. The trainees participated in role plays to practice these skills in real-time scenarios, ensuring all participants left with a stronger understanding and practical ability to implement EFT strategies effectively.

We are excited to have Doc Hawk in St. Louis for Core Skills in January and April 2025!
Successful completion of Core Skills training is a major step on the path to EFT Certification. Core Skills training takes a closer, more in-depth look at the steps and stages of EFT, moving therapists to a deeper level of understanding and higher levels of proficiency and confidence in EFT. Core Skills training is highly experiential, including live demonstrations of EFT by the trainers, watching expert sessions on videotape, and numerous small and large group experiential exercises.
Core Skills training is intimate, safe, and supportive, with the deeply held belief that by supporting each other, we can all grow to become accomplished EFT couple therapists. Core Skills participants often bond with each other and their trainers, forming long-term supportive relationships.

Cost: $1600 in two payments of $800. The first payment is due to register, and the second will be due the Friday before Core Skills begins in January.
Cancellation Policy: Payment represents agreement to our cancellation policy. Participants who are unable to attend will be given credit to attend a future EFT Core Skills offered by STL EFT Community. No refunds will be given.
- Core Skills 1 & 2 with Doc Hawk will be held January 22-24, 2025, from 9 am to 5 pm. This session will cover Stage One of EFT, including assessment and alliance, the cycle, and de-escalation.
- Core Skills 3 & 4 with Doc Hawk will be held April 21-23, 2025, from 9 am to 5 pm. This session will cover Stage Two of EFT, including withdrawer re-engagement and pursuer softening.
